The visit follows a circuit, starting with:
The garden "of sensations".
Behind the protective fortified walls is a garden inspired by the medieval style, yet
constructed in a modern way, with vines, osier and water as the themes. Earth, air and fire
themes are also present. A series of 7 tributes are dedicated to mythical characters that have
left their imprint on the history of wine. In the towers, there are sculptures by four artists
around the four seasons, water, barrels, fire, bottles, wining equipment. The belvedere offers
a spectacular view over the property, the fountains and the landscape.
The visit lasts about 40 minutes.
Live exhibition "L'Ame du Vin". (The Spirit of Wine)
This is not just another wine and winemaking « museum », but a true initiatory circuit, which
is fun and interactive where the visitor is both the actor and the spectator. The idea of "the
spirit of wine" is to deliver a message about the wining lands (the earth must be preserved),
wine and heath, wine and pleasure, the seasons, the cellars. An original way of realising that
the earth leaves its mark in wine.
The visit lasts for about 25 minutes.
Wine tasting in the boutique
The visit ends with a tasting of several of our wines. The visitor will discover a whole range
of wines and armagnacs, produced by the J.J. Lesgourgues’ vineyards and representative of the
different « terroirs », as well as various unusual items to do with wine. A souvenir of this
very special and unforgettable property.
